I've worked at Nextdoor for two years, and I can confidently say that this is the best company I have worked for. There are opportunities to grow internally and I feel valued on my team.

Nextdoor has been a great company to work for, and I hope for several more years together! I look forward to advancing in my career at Nextdoor, and I hope to see an IPO :) I know the whole country/world can benefit from using Nextdoor - we are on a great path to success!

Knowing I'm paid fairly and with a company destined for success.

There's a great culture of transparency at Nextdoor, and the leadership team is a strong example.

Lots of transparency. I always feel like I'm in the loop with company decisions, especially when reading Board memos.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is friendly and kind. I don't feel like people talk behind my back or have secret Slack threads.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being paid fairly and having team members I can trust! Also, believing in the company motto / feeling like my work aligns with my morals.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Even though the team is spread nationwide, everyone works collaboratively with one another. The entire team is really friendly and nice - there doesn't seem to be any inter-team drama.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone has a common interest in company goals and believes in the importance of our work. I appreciate the ability to work from home and it's been incredibly helpful this year.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I believe I am paid fairly and receive a ton of benefits that are valuable too. From free PPO healthcare to a $2,000 annual 401K match to a $75/month wellness stipend, I feel very lucky.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Everyone has the same core values and makes decisions based on benefitting the entire community, not just the financial interests of a few individuals. Decisions are made for the right reasons, and there is a high level of transparency for employees of all levels.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I believe my salary is fair. Perks are great, but at the end of the day, it's my salary that pays the bills and helps me save for my goals. I appreciate that I am paid fairly and it helps retain me as an employee.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Managers respect their employee's time. If I ever need to take time for a doctor's appointment or PTO, it's encouraged and I never feel guilty. As long as the work gets finished each day, I can pick what time I start and end. Everyone is really flexible.
