People fist approach, provides a framework for everyone including managers.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
We get fully paid medical dental vision by Nextdoor. Something that all companies must do.
What are some of the best things about your team?
compassionate during discussion. Cut throat arguments aren't going to create a positive workpace, we don't have that here.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Need a strong Product Management and Head of eng. I need to believe that our ENG energy is not wasted. Currently its wasted a lot.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My expectations were not met. The promise of making hay after a few years just never happened. I've been under paid for years, without immediate fixing of my compensation, I will consider leaving Nextdoor.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My teammates are brilliant, but they lack a great guidance to fire the energy focusing on a single target. Right now the ENG does not have a proper guidance. There is a lot of fire power being wasted everyday.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Focus on mental health of the employees literally saved my life. I took help from Modern Health. I cannot stress this enough. My mental health is important for me to produce my best work. This is the very first employer I'vve seen care about employee's mental health.
