What are some of the best things about your team?
People are kind and empathetic and fun to be around. Getting things done is celebrated and feels good to share.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Incredibly smart and competent. Have great perspectives to share and open to feedback. In some places though like culture and fun, it feels like we're moving towards acting like a large company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is extremely aware of social issues and cognizant of how small things affect people. We are empathetic, but also a bit distant since covid. Not as much room for coloring outside the lines these days.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Everything is relative. I know we look for a specific band or relative percentile. But let's just say wanting to compete with facebook in everything but compensation is hard. Sometimes the feeling I get is that I have to make sacrifices for the privilege to work here.
