The leadership team is incredibly supportive
good management and happy people
My leadership team promotes growth and access along side company goals.
They stay mostly out of the way
Actually lead, communicate, listen, adapt, plan/prepare, think, be better
Employee wants and needs and satisfaction
Treating their workers like people and not disrespcting them
Care about employees more than thier stock options
Communicaion, benefits, staffing, PTO, pay
Review from Operations Dept
Paid well, but yearly raises do not do it. You have to be committed to advancing yourself for applying for positions that will gain you insight to another department. Do not be afraid of lateral moves. Its showing your dedication to learn more.
I think it is a fair wage for the job I do and the responsibility I have.
Fairly comprehensive, offering lots of different coverages and somewhat transparent

Bereavement leave, Total Rewards, generous PTO
Salary and stock options, including the employee stock purchase (at substantial discount) which is an instant win and creates a culture of ownership among frontline staff.
Higher annual salary, much better healthcare coverage.
They refused to give me a raise when I moved because they stated that I was now at the pay cap for my new state despite me doing the same job. They continue to decrease employer contributions and increase my cost for benefits.
My pay rate is much less than the area normal. New emplyees are getting better offers
With education and experience I should be at 75k
Equal pay between men and women, clearly defined bonus targets

No meetings time to time, only teams information will be flowing site level
The team looks for out for each other and tries to help each other since leadership constantly throws us under the bus.
Teams are built working mostly remotely, and we all come from different states. The best part of our team is that it is small. So everyone feels safe to talk on our huddles. About work as well as time left to have fun as a team and share aomething interesting.
My team is extremely encouraging and welcoming providing positive feedback and chances to improve.
I love my team. We work well together. we can be honest with each other and still have a good day.
To have support frim management to allow conversations. Management doesnt want us talking
We make the place work
One way meetings are ineffective.
Set a common goal that everyone can align towards
Supervisors need to support their employees. Instead, I've repeatedly encountered actual hostility from supervisors with no desire to help employees succeed.

They constantly talk about and send us messages about gratitude. Too bad they don't actually feel it for their employees.
The most positive experiance I have had with this company was during COVID. Many with small children home. And when school started, your day was...working, being a teacher, and parent. My manager stated "It's now our time to work for you." "Work when you can and show up for your family first".
Optum encourages interactions, positive peer promotion with kudos programs, and an extensive learning opportunities.
I like how we can pick up where the other left off.
We can work well together
change leadership member and require new face
Review from Operations Dept
Appreciation with recognition and respect.
Executive leadership needs to walk the talk - they say all the right things but their actions show that they don't really care about anything other than lining their own pockets at the expense of everyone and everything else.
1st interview was 17 years ago. But applying to internal positions and interviewing is really Person to Person having a conversation. Each wanting to know the others background. I love when it can be casual vs the "standard interview questions."
Getting to introduce myself to the rest of the staff.
Learning about the company and the nuances of the markets.
I interviewed early in the pandemic. Everything was in turbulence but the interviewers remained positive
Technology, progress reporting and fast
Actually post all job openings and build up existing leaders instead of always hiring outside
Faster response time and be more transparent about the job
The interview process was too long. One of the people that was supposed to interview was laid off on the day of my interview.
Review from Operations Dept
Recruiters should contact the candidate if they are not going to show up for an interview
