For the past 10 yrs, I've been an excellent employee who has made this company a lot of money. Despite this, I was not supported financially or professionally. The company has done everything it can to make money while not compensating us.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being a nurse and helping my patients.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our mission is to help our members stay healthy and we have very effective ways of doing that.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Supervisors need to support their employees. Instead, I've repeatedly encountered actual hostility from supervisors with no desire to help employees succeed.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Being fair. They kept raising the starting wage for my position but never updated my wage at that time. So, after being there 10 years, I was making less than someone who just started a week ago.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Because I was being paid below a new employee despite 10 years of experience. I wasn't given a raise for 3 years despite meeting all the performance goals for my team. The rationale was that only people who EXCEEDED expectations received raises. I deserve to have my wage updated to the current wage
