There are a lot of things I really like about Nordic but feel the culture has changed for the worse since Jim became CEO. Additionally, a year out from the RIF and MS still feels like a sinking ship, and our leaders basically won't acknowledge the attrition problem or its impact on our teams.

People are generally very collaborative
What makes you most happy at work?
My co-workers are great people
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I put in so much extra work as an application lead and am not compensated for it. Having started looking elsewhere, I am astounded by how much more money I could be making. Health insurance premiums are way too high and 401K matching way too low.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Nordic once prided itself on its transparency, and I feel a lot of that has been lost. When we ask questions about our benefits and compensation, we're given generic answers like "we're looking into it" or "we're competitive." Senior/exec leadership has also been totally absent from ERGs and DEI.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people here are really wonderful. It's a shame so many of them keep leaving to find jobs where they are paid better. Numerous close friends have left in the past year. I think the recent push for greater DEI efforts is encouraging; hoping to see diversity reflected in senior/exec leadership soon
