Mr. Thomas Kurian has been the President of Product Development at Oracle Corporation since January 06, 2015. Mr. Kurian is responsible for leading all aspects of product strategy, software development and delivery of Oracle's software product portfolio, including Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware and enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management and supply chain management applications. Mr. Kurian has been with Oracle since 1996, holding various product management and development positions in Oracle's server technologies division. He served as a Senior Vice President of Development at Oracle Application Server at Oracle Corporation since February 2001 until July 2009. He served as Senior Vice President of Oracle Fusion Middleware and Server Technologies Development at Oracle Corporation. He served as an Executive Vice President of Product Development at Oracle Corporation since July 2009 until January 06, 2015. He was responsible for leading all aspects of product strategy, software development and delivery of Oracle's software product portfolio including Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware and ERP, CRM and supply chain management applications. Mr. Kurian was responsible for shaping all technological aspects of the products' development, release process, management and business development. Since January 2008, he has also led the development for Oracle's next-generation business applications, Oracle Fusion Applications. He served as an Executive Vice President of Product Development at Oracle Financial Services Software Limited. He played a key role in bringing Oracle9i application server to market. Mr. Kurian served as a Vice President of E-Business at Oracle, driving a number of company-wide initiatives focused on transforming Oracle into an e-business. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Index Ventures. Further Mr. Kurian serves as an Advisory Member on the Boards of several international venture funds and software companies. Mr. Kurian received a BA in Electrical Engineering from the Princeton University and an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
