What is the best part about your compensation package?

Dependable and unlimited. Consistent and appropriate

The commission is good if you work hard

The health insurance sucks. The dental insurance is great. The 401 is decent but not great. The ancillary services are decent but not great. All in all I would write that a seven out of 10.

Training pay is good, and when your ready to get off of it they give you a nice percentage of each sale.

The stocks are awesome, the vacation is great (if we get to take any without having to work every Saturday of the month to compensate for the days we take off.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

For the amount of work that is suspected out of an employee and sales. The base needs to be hired. It’s not market competitiv

Office receptionist makes $24/ hour starting out but termite tech makes $19.00/ hour starting out. Unfair with physical aspect expected of the job.

Affordable health insurance is needed

If my compensation was not seen as an inconvenient cost to be reduced at any opportunity.

D.E.I - practise what you preach

Overall attitude toward technicians. Orkin cares about sales, that is if your not a technician they care about sales. Have screwed me over numerous times to continue counting. The sad part they screwed themselves by screwing me. I dont do sales now because of it. So I stopped looking.

Find a better way to not have sales people compete with all the technicians and pay commissions fairly.

Routes were cut with no explanation.

No commucation at all dont care

I feel undervalued because of the work that we have to do every day as a termite technician and the fact that I could go work at Wendy's and get paid more and we get kept until who knows when at the end of the day. Honestly I could go on all day about this.

They are manipulative to what their emotions are per branch and not equal to all!

Why am i working doing the same job as the techs who have licenses and get paid less

Salary to hours worked, I could work a McDonald’s and gross more. Needs to be a clear number on how many hours are expected in a work week when taking a position. I would never have signed up for this if I new this is how it was going to be. Never had this issue at other branch

Pay scale doesn’t reflect actual hours committed to this job. I’m required to drive company vehicle sometimes 2 hours each way to a service and not being paid for my travel. Mandated breaks by law are not being given. Forced to work thru lunch but management takes lunch from us anyways on their

Getting what I am owed or was agreed to during my arbitration. Before Covid was better but since is terrible. Sale ,sale, sale is the moto but yet we can't get our money.

I do 25-30k per month in production, but I am still paid hourly. I was given $0 off a huge sale I was supposed to be a part of, but was told my overtime would be sufficient. Holiday bonuses would be nice, annual reviews and raise opportunities. Insurance with a co-pay plan.

Not receiving payment properly for overtime, accounts, and negative management staff. Not providing the necessary tools to succeed. Multiple personal have had similar experience.
