Communication on what is required. Give direction and allow us to do our job versus being dictated.

Developing and communicating career paths. Career advancement is poorly defined. Many positions have nothing to develop and strive towards. Leadership positions are frequently hired from outside the company.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Vacation policy is too low, also not being able to take a half day. Also compensation is low compared to the market.

I love working with a team that wants the best for the company. It seems like the majority of the workers want the company to excel. There doesn't seem to be very much finger pointing between departments which is a very nice team dynamic.

A lot of negative attitudes across many departments. People are not being held accountable for their actions. If they can get away with doing the bare minimum they will.

As a growing and very agile company we tend to say yes to more things than we have resources to support. The frenzied pace, time requirements, travel requirements, and stress levels all contribute to burnout. There is often very little recovery time before the next urgent, high priority project.

More up to date work space would be a great improvement. An on-site gym with an outdoor walking path, frisbee golf, and pavilion to eat lunch at.
