I've worked for a number of different companies and have been here the longest. Every place as pluses and minuses. It's just how much you can tolerate the minuses and if the good outweighs the not as good. To me, people are what make or break a company, and the people here are the best around.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Most positive is that people are welcoming, genuinely care, are fun to be around even though we work hard, and will listen to what you have to say.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are approachable, accessible, compassionate, business-minded keeping people/talent at the forefront, genuinely want people to succeed with whatever each person's goals are with the goal of meeting client and company objectives, etc.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is hard working, welcoming, considerate, open, collaborative, helpful, genuinely want what's best for our team, our clients and our business, fun, thoughtful, smart, etc. There are a few bad apples who are manipulative, take credit for others' work, passive-aggressive, etc.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
There are more benefits and concern for employee well-being than I've ever experienced in my career. Maybe other companies have these too & it's just the way business has evolved over the years. Flexibility is the best part. We are able to do what we need to do, where & when we need to do it.
What makes you most happy at work?
the people. Any day I'm not super exited to go to work it's usually more to do with a client being nasty. Not to say there aren't things that bug me about our company, but the things that bug me are tolerable. There's good and bad at every company. At this company the good outweighs the bad.
