People in the product org are extremely invested, everyone is doing their best. There are varying skill and experience levels but there are no slouches. Collaboration and cooperative styles have improved in recent years.

Develop leaders, not just executors. There's a vacuum left by authoritative style as company grows. Myopic focus on discrete metrics. Plan for long term and customer satisfaction over short term contact generation. Invest in make a good core product over chasing every growth opp.
