Remitly is a great place to work but there are definitely areas that could be improved on. It has the potential to be one of the best companies to work for, if some focus was put on company culture

Very proactive and approachable. Generally open to new ideas
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think the culture needs a lot of focus in my office, as of now there is a serious lack that is regularly commented on
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think the 6 month probationary period is far too long and having to wait 12 months to receive some of the basic benefits is too long
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I think focusing on encouraging a positive culture would go a long way. I also think flexibility that all team members should be allowed to work from home occasionally and not just some team members, should be considered
