I have enjoyed my job for the most part over the last decade, but over time, seeing how the company operates has been very disillusioning. I was once one of the most motivated employees, but now that I am losing my job to an offshore team, our spark is gone. Execs don't believe in or respect us.

Ability to earn overtime and additional pay in various ways like working different shifts
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are all very nice, fun, and we interact casually. We are all friends for the most part. No judgment of others. Good work ethic.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Decent health benefits, ability to shop for an affordable plan. Nice and friendly coworkers, casual and laid back relationship with immediate supervisor. Manager is understanding about time off.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I only had a phone interview since I came in as a temp, but all the questions were very fair. Manager seemed to look at potential rather than being nit-picky about past experience.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Start trusting and valuing your American employees. Stop outsourcing everything and constantly making massive cuts without considering the long-term consequences. Draw up an efficient budget that doesn't always require the employee to give up perks, benefits, their jobs, etc. LISTEN to lower level.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Whole teams are being outsourced and offshored to "restructure" and save the company money, instead of looking for ways to preserve the US teams within a more efficient structure. Pretty soon the entire IT, billing, and customer care departments will be located offshore. We feel betrayed.
