We had no solid information , and we've been asking for help for months . We were either ignored or belittled . Our pay is a slap in the face considering we are barely getting any off days .

Staying out of people personal life worrying about rue21 when working and not outside of work buisness..hiring people who wants to work and leaving all on me .
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
they don't value me. they make me come in extremely sick and made me wait 3 weeks for a check they received already
Pay scale is not condusive to the experience and talent of the employees
When we are told to take our pto by the district manager, then when we do request pto it gets denied. At the end of the fiscal year you lose the pto you didnt use. But was denied the chance to use it.

Because my manager didn't have any compassion, treated me like shit and I have a lot going on in my life and had to take a leave of absence which is why I am trying to contact HR because now that I'm ready to go back to work I can't because I can't be found in the system and nobody will help me

The associates work fine, management doesnt follow policy or communicate well.
Being noce to each other
Communication. Taking accountability, and work together not against each other.
They should respect personal space.
The rue21 rivergate location didnt have meetings. All decisions are based off of he said she said, and even the district manager has a communication issue. Alot of this locations issues could be resolved with better conflic resolution and communication skills.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
There is so much drama constantly and its SO disorganized

Everyone needs to worry about work instead of worrying what's going on with other people and their personal life's. Worry bout what needs to be done and do it..no one works there..they are too busy worrying about drama..lines have been crossed!!!!
Executive Leadership is far too ingrained in making technical decisions and they do not understand the complexities of decisions they have made in the past

they just asked me hours and told me to come in, in a few days. actually asks questions.

I sat outside a bench to get interviewed which was extremely unprofessional.

Assortment of product, level of talent in the stores, and the executive teams capabilty to have clear concise direction
District manager needs to do better, product and visual materials need to be at the stores before the date they are supposed to be on the sales floor.

Managment could be better than what it is
We need higher pay. Because ours is so low its hard to hire anybody since a lot of places offer up to $5 more per hour for just part time sales associates.
