Scotiabank Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Good good good good good

health benefits and time off

Contains health and wellness package

Mental health support is the best

Value each department as we all contribute to the performance, not just sales team.

The salary is pretty nice

It is based on my performance

Benefits for sick days and holidays

They offer the best rate

Restricted share units are decent

Stock option match from bank

Nothing special about it now

The best part is the bonus.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation could be enhanced a lot

Because paying 40k for an full-time advisors in canada is insane

So much hours little pay

Comp is a little lower than industry and benefits are basic

Open discussion of compensation during hiring process.

I been working at the bank for 4 years, moved up with great numbers, and new employee in my position with high level of education with no work experience gets paid better than me.

Better pay, and a clear path to advancement. Why am i here if i cant move up.

Consultants with more than ten years with the company should be equated to the ladder.

They make engineers go on contract, underpay them and then refuse to make us full time even after two years. They cheat labor laws by making you take a 3 month break just to put on contract again.
