The process has changed over the years, and I'm not certain what the current process is actually like.
Scrum Alliance offers outstanding benefits from the 401(k), matching, health insurance coverage, gap insurance, disability insurance, dental insurance and vision insurance. It's really top notch.
The leadership team is engaged and tries to stay connected with the rest of the organization. They usually do a strong job picking a direction and communicating the direction and vision to the teams and individuals doing the work.
Even though the team works hard, they also like to have fun. Being a remote company we don't meet in person very much. I really enjoy all company meetings and other team building gatherings where we can all gather together virtually, laugh, bond, and have fun.
I really enjoy delivering high quality results that help my team and the company meet its goals. In addition I'm a big fan of working with others on projects (pairing) because it's a very satisfying and gratifying way to work, and often produces better results than working alone.
The team always shows up and figures out the work that needs to be delivered to get the job done and move our systems and processes forward. They have high integrity, and I can count on every one across the organization to make commitments, do what they say, and deliver projects.
