How's the morale at Shearman & Sterling, LLP?
Bad morale.
Very low.
What do you wish you knew before starting at Shearman & Sterling, LLP?
That the specific place I work is under Shearman and also Williams Lea, and even though they work together all the time, it requires the employee to keep track of training, emails, and logging time for 2 corporations feeding you propaganda about how diverse and inclusive they are, while wasting money on a building barely getting used and keeping their wages lower than any other city they are in. They also rely on their overtime jobs as a scale for whether your department gets a raise, so if that doesn't get logged or if they think it isn't profitable enough, they won't give more pay. Which is unfair of a 24/7 document service team that should be set up well enough to survive while some have no work available. If not, then you aren't charging correctly or ruining your reputation with clients which isn't the workers' faults
