I enjoy my role here but there is no room for growth outside of my leader retiring in my team. Culture needs to be more than just talked about though. Employees have good ideas and have continued to bring up the same criticism and concerns that will keep good employees and keep them engaged yet.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is more transparent than we have had before. It gives clear direction and intention.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The acknowledgement of success by others. It is good to be recognized and to be able to recognize others.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our overall team is small. We interact well together but spread thin. All have such differing personalities and bring different things to the table.
What makes you most happy at work?
My days go fast, I am never bored - and I love challenges. I pride myself on making a difference in someone's day and helping others.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The cost of benefits are probably the most expensive I have had at any company. UHG should not be the carrier for many reasons. I don't believe that the team is fairly promoted in comparison to overall spend and responsibility. We have taken on additional responsibilities and companies.
