Overall it's been Pleasant. I'm actually really happy to be a part of Shutterfly. I have aspirations of moving into other departments and upward mobility that is attuned to my skills. I believe I had the opportunity to do that
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The upper management are definitely more approachable and sincere then some of the lower-level employees
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There is always a willingness to help employees be best at their job and multiple opportunities to allow the employee to show it
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to get ahead in the work that I do so that I have more time to reorganize / improve the office
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everybody is on board to teach you something if it will help the overall process but they get weary if you ask the same question more than once for understanding
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think in my position there's more work needed that can be completed feasibly in a given day and that at times can feel overwhelming while trying to stay under budget with the overtime hours allotted to my territory.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The hiring manager recognized right away that I was overqualified for the position that I was applying for it and he treated me with that respect offering me options of different positions that needed to be filled. I appreciated that recognition
