There's plenty of opportunity to do good work, but you usually have to go out and find it. It also won't necessarily be recognized, but the generous pay more than compensates for that.

Bad communication, poor planning, lack of ownership, and decision-making that is somehow both capricious and non-existent. I don't know how any of that can be improved. Maybe it can't be.
