What do you like best about the leadership team?
I love that our team is open and honest. Everyone at SmartBug is genuinely encouraged to bring their full selves to work. There are no expectations of long hours and no unsaid expectations.
What are some of the best things about your team?
SmartBugs are some of the smartest, most helpful, and kind group of coworkers I have ever worked with. I genuinely feel supported by my direct managers, and their encouragement has helped me grow tremendously.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Commission can make compensation highly variable. Promotions are given instead of keeping employees' salaries in their current roles competitive. I would feel valued if SmartBug proactively increased salary (or benefits!) without requiring us to advocate for sub-inflation adjustments
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people! Everyone truly brings their whole selves to work, and we are actively encouraged to take breaks, utilize PTO and flex time to prevent burnout and ultimately do the best work we can for our clients. When someone is overwhelmed, the whole team pitches in to help.
