I've seen job titles created out of thin air, promotions given to friends of friends and family members of employees. Working here based on hard work and merit alone is disadvantageous. You will be working twice as long over some niece/nephew of some trader.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We get free snacks and drinks.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Micromanagement, undeserved promotions and low pay.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Accountability is preached but never put into action. There has never been an issue here where someone wasn't ready to place the blame on someone else.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Getting paid the same as other companies pay their employees with similar job title and responsibilities. Hardly any room for negotiation on pay, we're expected to be grateful with getting paid at all.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Follow the same standards employees of the company are expected to meet. We're told to work as a team, but leadership will leave early while telling us to stay after our assigned hours to get an order out. Pay earned and work done also has never aligned to the current market.
