Yes I am currently a cashier at smiths food and drug. I love my job but I would like to know why I’m making 12.50 an hour and a lady who was hired the exact same time as myself as a cashier too make 15 plus an hour. I want you to help me with my hourly rate. I’ll check with our union
What makes you most happy at work?
The customers are awesome. I get a few crabby ones but we all have our bad days. I’m still very respectful to our customer
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The customers are real nice but they want my rings higher than a 22. I understand but I thought customers come first. Customer service does not come first. Since when?
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I love my boss except for one thing. He won’t give me a starting wage of 15.00 an hour. I thought Smiths raised their hourly wage so why am I at 12.50. I don’t get any help about my wage. Thank
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
They have what you call clicks. I don’t talk to anyone because it gets back to the manager. I don’t think they like me and wants me to quit. I love my job and not doing anything wrong and obey my bosses and co workers. They cashier just like me. I never had this problem in the p
