Company meeds A LOT of restructuring from within. Bad management leads to a poor/dysfunctional store & lots of turnover. Get rid of the dysfunctional management - including those at the corporate level, replace them with people who know whst they're doing & who care, & Smith’s would be awesom
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Management needs to learn how to manage a store correctly & correct problems that arise that are beyond the employees' scope to fix. (This typically doesn't happen at my store - instead, shortcuts & other such nonsense is taken & the problem never gets fully resolved.) Technology needs upgrade.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing those hardworkers, like myself, & kmowimg that there's at least a few of us who care about keeping oue departments running. Clocking out & going home is the next best thing - it means you survived yet another day & that you don't have to put up with anymore workplace nonsense.
