Executive Bio

Mr. Andrew G. Ritger Jr., also known as Drew, has been Senior Vice President of Development at Sonic Corp. since July 2015. Mr. Ritger served as Senior Vice President of Development at Sonic Corp. since September 2004 and served as its Senior Vice President of Business Planning & Purchasing. He was responsible for the A&E process in addition to oversight of real estate and the management of area development agreements, franchise sales, franchise finance and purchasing. He joined SONIC in 1996 as Vice President of Purchasing and Distribution and also served as its Vice President of Quality Assurance since 2001 and added Franchise Development to his responsibilities in April 2002. He served as Vice President of Purchasing of Fast Food Merchandisers, Inc., a subsidiary of Hardees, Inc. of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, from May 1993 to 1996. Mr. Ritger held leadership positions with HJ Heinz and Ralston Purina. He served as a Member of the National Association of Purchasing Managers, he served on its regional board of directors. He served as a Board Member for the Oregon Grain & Food Association, the Council of Logistics Management and the MS Society of Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University. Mr. Ritger is a native of El Dorado, Ark., he lives in Edmond, Okla., with his wife, Elizabeth and three children.
