My overall experience is positive. I think that there are so many examples where I feel the company will choose money as their bottom line to make decisions over what is morally right. Other than this, I love working for Sono Bello.
What makes you most happy at work?
My team is just amazing. We have such a great group here.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Dynamic, fun, committed, hardworking, family like atmosphere. We really care about each other.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are bold, frank, willing (and now seeking) to accept feedback. I am often surprised by how much they actually know what goes on in centers and what our challenges are.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Generally speaking, I love that the company celebrates women, LGBTQA community, Latin heritage month, black history month. It is very important to me that the company I work for also supports our community and is a part of the solution in making the world a better place with education & recognition
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel like there have been improvements, but I feel that the company is stingy when it comes to raises 3% is considered a fantastic raise- when inflation is 8% this is not comparable. Furthermore, our benchmarks are way off the market, and we try to hire people as cheap as possible. Pushback on pay
