There is a large disparity between conpensation level and the expectation for high level performance and length of workdays.

Coworkers are brainwashed that new people must endure long grueling hours, and unnecessary high stress situations To earn mutual respect.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leaders are apathetic to staff concerns. Leaders are egalitarian in case count among staff only. Compensation and hours worked are skewed favorably toward management, creating a pyramid with an ever-rotating base.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The company is concerned only about the bottom line. There are a lot of non-revenue generators, who are paid substantially more than the revenue generators. The a cartoon corrupt fat cat comes to mind.
