Constantly understaffed. Managers don't know enough to help departments. Totally underpaid and no reasonable workers' rights. New CEO has made things considerably worse.

Know more, pay attention, lead by participation, develop some gorm of storewide and department communications system. Go beyond misogynistic worldview/behavior.
