Peoples passion for the product and the outdoors. Their individual efforts to get outside. Within my team our ability to move fast diplomatically, trust each other while also sharing the work load and responsibility.
When I get to work on a hard problem that has big impact potential with colleagues who have similar levels of excitement and passion. When I'm happiest is when we've shipped the product to the users.
There's a lot to do but most the things I get to work on are exciting or important in the sense that they impact real peoples usage of the product and their ability to get outside and do something.
Better pay transparency tied to titles/rolls across the company - would be awesome if Strava was leading transparency in this regard in a way not seen in the tech industry / employment world. More clarity around how compensation is leveled based on where you live and what office you report to.
