SWCA Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

ESOP offers opportunity to benefit directly from success

Posted a day ago

Pay structure is fair and bonuses are great. There are also small perks like lunches provided for staff meetings and a stipend for a local farm stand.

ESOP, other care benefits are excellent

Posted 5 days ago

The rates are fair, and having an opportunity to participate in the esop program is a great perk.

The ESOP and being employee owned

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

SWCA still pays below market opposed to others.

Posted 2 days ago

There doesn't seem to be a clear path to getting a promotion.

Review from HR Dept · Posted 5 days ago

I feel salaries are lagging the actual economy, and do not seem right for my level of experience and responsibility. A raise of about 25% would do it.

Posted 5 days ago

I am not undervalued, but I do feel like I am being underpaid.

Posted 5 days ago

Rate of pay same after 2 years needs to increase

Posted 8 days ago

The compensation is just low for my profession. But maybe SWCA just cannot afford more.

More in line with industry standards

Review from Marketing Dept · Posted 12 days ago

I don't believe I'm paid competitively and I dislike that 401k is not matches because I don't see the benefits of the ESOP very much and it doesn't grow quickly.

Review from Marketing Dept

I believe corporate overstandardization of roles and pay scales hurt smaller offices where employees must complete the job description of multiple people

During a lateral position move I was informed that I'd been at the bottom of the wage range for my original title, and my own supervisor revealed that when moving to the new title in a different department, that director and VP wanted to offer me MORE but supervisor refused. Result? Feel undervalued

Comparable rates to other companies for the same positions.

I am glad I get to explain my response. I am new to SWCA, and took a pay cut to come here, but I have discovered that SWCA's pay is lower than average. That is fine right now because I am still learning. I want to see how the bonus situation pays out because it may bring me to my previous pay.

Industry standards have the compensation a bit higher - based on experience and experience.

Review from Marketing Dept

I support a large sized office in various departments tasks required and asked of me. Some tasks are auto assumed they belong under my scope of service. For a long while, I assisted without getting paid for support and tasks that took much of my time. And time away from my actual duties.

Review from Admin Dept

Matching industry rates and time off.

Review from Finance Dept

compensation is barely at target for my industry and level, i also think doing bare minimum benefits does not count as valuing employees

It feels stagnant when it comes to performance and compensation. Being able to get to that next level is difficult even though performance says that next level is right there

Review from Finance Dept

I am doing the work of multiple positions. I am being asked to be more stretgic but it is almost impossible when I am overloaded with tactical work because I don't have the support.

Review from HR Dept

Not keeping up with competitive firms in similar roles, national average

My pay is below average for my skillset and experience in the industry and area. I would feel better if the company was better at allowing training and continuing education. This is often discouraged from a cost perspective from leadership and executive teams.
