Having a great product and competent team who care about doing a good job.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Very high talent level across the board. High energy. Mostly positive attitudes most of the time. Most gripes stem from employees who care and want the best for company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Positive energy and that the values are regularly acted upon and discussed as part of daily decision making. This is true at various levels of the org; not just execs.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As we transition from restaurant to platform we are beginning to bring in people from other industries. Restaurants/food service is among the lowest paying industries and tech is among the highest and this disconnect isn't accepted yet. I'd feel better if my base came up significantly.
