symplr Team Employee Reviews

What are some of the best things about your team?

The team supports one another generally, but there could be better cross-functional alignment and collaboration.

Review from Marketing Dept

Great people to work with and willing to teach others.

Review from IT Dept

Our team truly works as a team - we help each other out and win/loss we do it together

Even though we are remote it seems like we work in same office. We aren't a bunch of individuals working around the globe but team that seems to be working in an office next to each other.

we all love accounts receivable collection work

We're cohesive, supportive, and effective. My team rocks!

Their commitment to symplr and our team, and their passion in their roles and responsibilities.

Supportive, Very Friendly in nature, Sharing the information.

Everybody is willing to help each other, there is a vast amount of knowledge on multiple areas within my team, we all appreciate hearing new perspectives or new ways to approach a problem, everyone is willing to learn and listen to each other.

They are fantastic and very supportive

Team Strength, Ideas, Helping Hands

Very supportive, Caring, good coordination & helping nature.

One of the best things about my team is how collaborative and supportive everyone is. We’re quick to share knowledge, step in when someone needs help, and genuinely root for each other

Friendship, commit to work , ethics

Our team is amazing really; they are all nice and we enjoy working together

The team continues to deliver quality work despite limited resources, often sacrificing their work-life balance in the process. Their dedication and resilience make them the true champions of the organization.

Review from Engineering Dept

We frequently meet as a team. We are very much on the same page and try to provide the same services to the areas we serve. Some care about doing that better than others.

Review from Engineering Dept

Always willing to lend a hand, smart and professional.

Review from Sales Dept

They care about the customer and the experience. They always do the right thing promptly.

I love my team & their willingness to assist when needed

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

When my coworkers are kind, they are great. When something sets them off, it feels a bit hostile at times. Especially recently.

Since we have begun global outsourcing, every time someone has left Symplr we do not hire a new person, we simply re-allocate the work to overseas. These folks are not doing the same quality of work that my co-workers would have done.

Group meetings routinely get sidetracked by extended personal stories or 1:1 discussions between a coworker and our manager. This makes it difficult to stay on track and cover work topics in a reasonable time. It would be helpful if discussions stayed more focused. Happy to chat at other times.

Ask when you are unsure of something. Don't wait to be told, be proactive, take ownership.

Some individuals and teams are very difficult to work with and I dread having to interact with them. Others are a delight...I'm sure that is the norm at any company you work for. But there are departments that seem to have a reputation for being difficult to work with-management should fix that.

Review from Sales Dept

Lack of interaction between US based resources and India based resources because of time differences. Lack of training from the company means that newer resources are heavily dependent on longer term employees for training, driving up the stress level for already overworked and burnt out resources.

Review from Engineering Dept

India resources expect every aspect of every project to be fully detailed out for them. They don't attempt to learn for themselves.

Review from Engineering Dept

A lot of regrettable attrition lately, so our team is very slim now, adds stress. Additionally, some of the remaining employees and mid-level managers present themselves as 'the authority' on almost everything, reducing healthy collaboration. Internal SOP lacks detail. QCs checking work don't agree.

I would love for some of my coworkers to be more collaborative

Review from Engineering Dept

We have too many "yes men" and not enough experienced people raising the bar for the team.

Review from Sales Dept

I wish my coworkers to be more inclusive.

Review from Engineering Dept

Filling gaps, creating real teams and departments would allow for a true co-worker team feel. Working alone is difficult and made harder when good employees leave because of poor salaries

Review from Engineering Dept

people need drop the toxicity attitude and be helpfull in stead of going through management channels to get information.

It's a bad look when someone is passed over for a promotion because another employee historically difficult, says they won't work if they are managed by so-and-so. This is not how a business should be run - to bring in an outsider to avoid issue and demote someone because of a difficult employee.

Review from Engineering Dept

I more inclusive team and also being held accountable to assist team members in gaining accurate knowledge to be able to do their jobs successfully

I just don't have much interaction with my coworkers.

a lot of silos and we are not creating structure and process around how we need to share information and act on and own the actions around how to get things done

The team is very siloed, every individual is literally an independent contributor and there are no other opinions or suggestions from others. It does not feel like a team, rather siloed goals or unengaged people.

Nothing. I prefer to be left alone

Review from Engineering Dept

Become more of team players, it seems everyone is more interested in shifting blame and attacking one another then accepting accountability and becoming a closer stronger team
