Good people and atmosphere .
The Sgt.s and Lt.s are amazing people, and the Major is really great also. But, after that it just goes downhill. There is so much time spent on things that really don't matter in the overall security of the unit. It's all semantics and paperwork.
The care and attention they have to their staff.

They only care about getting more money for their grants.
Being leaders rather than authoritive figures
Actually leading its employees to do better while giving the tools that are not only imparative but essential to allow employees to effectively do their work to the best of their ablities. This also includes better training and more training thus also justifying more quality pay in the TDCJ system
Treating their employees better and allowing us days off.
learn to start taking care of their people. Helping the moral ,communication, and retention fixed.have a ceo that actually sees us as a person not just a number.
They need to incorporate professionalism into their core values. Stop bragging about the agency remaining in the "black" financially and invest the savings into updating the substandard correctional staff housing, increasing correctional staff salaries & benefits, improve work hours for supervisors.
