After starting out as an intern, to hiring on full time, to now participating in a entry-level/mid-level career rotation program, I feel as though I have had plenty of opportunities both at work through the challenges I have taken part in, in addition to trainings and new roles I have earned.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I like that we will now be getting more vacation each year (for those under 5 years at the company), and that we have an excellent schedule that includes every other Friday off.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that the leadership team cares about my growth as an individual within the company. I believe they are invested in my growth, whether from supporting me in attending trainings, pursuing new challenges, or in my efforts on the board of one of our ERGs.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I like how my coworkers approach work as a fun and non-competitive environment - that is to say, non-competitive against each other, but competitive in terms of working to compete against their own self. I feel my coworkers actually care about me and about each other, in work and outside.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture and environment of the company are that people do care about their job and about their lives. Even when people complain about a boss or a challenging task, they will be able to pivot and convert some of that energy to efforts toward fighting to make the situation better.
What makes you most happy at work?
What makes me happy at work is succeeding in tasks that bring our company closer to achieving their goals, in improving myself so taking on and learning new tasks and roles, and in making my coworkers smile by bringing in a baked good or asking them about their new puppy or a football game.
