We are behind the times. Leaders are not invested in culture change.
- More modern facilities - Clean facilities - Option for remote work - Use of TS Salutes
Raises/promotions, career discussions, ability to move upward. We are overworked and spread thin in our department and not treated with respect.
That we are currently trying to make a change with D&I. Other than that, we are very old school and don't take action against old school behaviors. Look to our sister companies, we are struggling with culture and ammenities.
Improving communication - that we actually care and implement things to show we do. Work-life balance. Weeding out old school behavior. We have leaders that are here to collect a paycheck and leave. There are many people at lower levels working 4x as hard.
Analyze what our competitors are doing for their employees - WFH, supporting BLM, etc. We are behind in the times and it affects retention and employee view of the company. We are very retroactive in our approaches - coronvirus, D&I. By the time we do something, it's not meaningful anymore.
There is such a lack of communication. Since we are spread thin, there is a lot of animosity over workload. I feel like if I'm not overworking myself or burning out, people think I'm not trying hard enough. We need to better establish work-life balance - not just saying we support it.
