My experience at Textron has been challenging in complexity, yet significantly rewarding because I work with a large group of professionals and problem solvers. The people around me enjoy learning new skills and enjoy executing challenging program goals.

The opportunity to excel and receive salutes or proper recognition.

The products we make are meaningful and life saving, and I am challenged appropriately, on a daily basis.

If you perform significantly better than your peers, you can receive a bonus (salute). I also like the fitness reimbursement, and paternity leave.

The leadership team trusts my abilities to execute program goals, and allows me to capitalize on my own strengths to manage my own team.

I am paid fairly, my work has meaning, with good benefits, and I feel like I am on track to continue growing in my career.

My leadership team gives me the ability and bandwidth to achieve my objectives without micro managing. They have shown faith in my abilities and I appreciate the leeway they give me.

Our team understands the significance of the impact our products make for our customers, as a result, everyone takes pride in their work to ensure they are delivering the highest quality product.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is lots of opportunity for growth and plenty of challenges to resolve. If you want to perform and shine, no one is stopping you. People also gladly share information, no matter what role they are in.
What are some of the best things about your team?
This team is the most professional group I have ever worked with (after 12yrs in the Marines, and working in other civilian sectors). They all take pride in their work and are very knowledgeable in their respective roles.
