What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
"Build every engine as though you were going to fly it yourself! I believe this customer-centered company culture is the hallmark of Lycoming Engines, and it is a culture I embrace.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is friendly and easily approachable. This highly-visible and energetic group is well-integrated throughout the plant. Team members comingle and converse with their subordinates in a friendly manner, yet are simultaneously ready to roll up their sleeves and get down to business.
What makes you most happy at work?
There are two things that make my job most satisfying. First, no two days are alike. Each day brings a new set of challenges work priorities. A very close second is the ability to completely focus on my projects without being micromanaged.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I am on an extremely small team, but in my position, I regularly interact with folks from nearly every department down to the plant floor. Every staff member with whom I have interacted has been nothing short of wonderful! I love the "team" environment that is fostered and encouraged at Lycoming!
