Transparency with communication when it affects all/most employees, like work from home (wfh) & return to work. Listen to employees, especially when everyone is saying the same things, like flex schedules with wfh. Enforced D&I and unconscious bias conversations. Once a year trainings aren't enough.
My performance ratings don't reflect my merit raises. People share their salaries and no matter what scores we're getting each year, after merit raises, market adjustments & promotions, we all make the same. There's no distinction between anybody. Why work harder if that's the case?
