Not horrible but I can see the potential Textron has and because they aren't taking advantage of that potential my experience has been diminished.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We are collaborative and supportive of one another and our goals.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

communication and cultural shift to attract new talent. It really is ok if people work from home.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Overall I think Textron is a good place to work but it needs improvement. The culture is old school and uninviting to change.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We are paid lower than the industry standard. Having young kids come in and accept pennies lowers the pay scale and makes it unappealing for skilled workers.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Providing the tools to do the job. There is siloing in all departments and Textron-wide. Lack of resources to do the job and not enough people to cover the fact that basic tasks take 3x times longer with no recourses. Communicating across Textron is needed.
