It is so bad that I am looking to get out of here as fast as I can and never look back. MY manager does understand that leadership and my success (in their opinion) starts with them. But they blamed me. Why would I want to stay here if there is no potential for advancement?
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Not much is positive. I am in the process of looking for a new job.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They must provide the resources and tools necessary to complete the job properly and on time. They need to set the employees up for success. They need to take responsibility for their employees' performance instead of blaming the employee for not meeting their expectations.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Low compensation increase based on poor excuse from my manager. Compensation increase does not even come close to the increase in inflation. After my compensation increase, I cannot buy as much as the year before. I lost respect for my manager after my review. I was highly insulted.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
At this point it is too late to improve for me. I feel my manager does not appreciate me or my work. They put me in a position of not being successful in their opinion. They indirectly told me in my review that I have no future with the company.
