Most middle-aged employees were laid off, so the gap between experienced professionals and new hires is extremely noticeable. This company will crash if they keep forcing out experienced professionals and refusing to hire outside talent.
Compared to the amount of student loans I accrued to get to where I am, my compensation does not even come close to where it should be. Benefits are lacking, especially with the lack of pension and death of social security in the future.
