Medium and long term vision, rewarding, investing in people
Getting rid of poor management who clearly don't understand the UK employment law. Improve on recruitment processes, more people in line management who are people orientated and not dictators. Too many people in management who are recruited as they shout loudest.
understanding the word leadership should be a prioirty
Stop throwing employees under the bus - they lie snout not being made aware if issues when they have been the first person you ask
It seems the only way to earn more (a step change) is to move
Uncompetitive salary, slower advancement compared to new employees (which are hired with better conditions than 90% of long time employees), no benefits, people are pressured into taking high responsibility roles without negotiating better conditions. No possibility to WFH for some departments
Treated fairly with support for career progression and training.
Meet the average market rate
I entered Thales right after my masters, and it seems people with 3 year of experience joining the company get much better paid than I currently get after working here for 3 years.
More open for technical views, most people have a very high level top down approach but are really bad in low level details. Respect open talks and accept critic.
Stop highlighting that youve bedn there for so many years recognise other people have skilks and help new staff rather than thats not my job culture - offer help and guidance. Stop kerping all relevant info to yourself share and stop being suspicious of new team members
Excellent team, we really trust each other.
Shorter meetings and straight to the point
Move with the tomes ir you wont attract good resource. Stop rewarding poor performances and stop making excuses for people who are actually really rude and quite bullish. Employees constantly take credit for other people and senior management let them get away with it
more autonomy for our business unit, decoupled from corporate bureaucracy
mucht better infrastructure, mainly network...
Independent member of HR should be present at every interview. Interviews to be recorded to ensure they are conducted in line with eq. Act 2010. Interviews should have qs relevant to the role. They should be fair and balanced. Candidates should have equal opportunity. Thales Does NOT offer this
Lengthy process - then clearance takes a while
Bad culture, no vision, toxic practices have started to creep in, increased workload and no investment
Overhaul of higher management. A load of extroverted people don't often make the right leaders. Leaders in our business unit trying to suggest process which goes against company views and vision
Need to attract staff to meet future orders and to retain them - this needs a shake up Systems are old and poorly managed
lack of vision, and common strategy across product lines
We need to be more couregous, trust the people and let them try things. I don't need a specialist to tell her what to do!
