For the first few years there was a lot of opportunities to grow and learn it was a very exciting business to be in. The past couple of years the struggle to keep the buisiness growing under the new management has been impossible. There is no real chance for growth here
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Sampling all the food Free coffee.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
A cost of living raise. Holiday bonus. all of these have been blocked
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Organization. Employee involvement. Communication. Program Planning. All at a store level the programs are implimented haphazardly
What did you like most about the interview process?
One on one with the store manager. Back then the company was in an upward growth.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Most people are fun to be around. They like retail and helping customers. There are enough good people it out weighs the dead wood
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
There is more and more work much of it is very labor intence. We are given fewer hours to do them in and still expected to have the same amount of customer service. New programs that start and end quickly. Many are not given time to succeed or fail
