What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Mostly everything! Employees are overwhelmed and not taken care of. The manager uses the phrase "Do what you can with what you've got" this is no way motivational or productive for anyone. PLEASE IT IS IMOORTANT the way things are being handled is not beneficial to the company or anyone.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I show up, I help as much as I cam, I do what is asked of me, I utilize my experience and knowledge from 2nd job to help improve productivity as well as food safety. I was switched to another more demanding position without being 1] consulted and 2] compensated or even offered/awarded such.

Management should have been allowed to tell the truth. Half truths accomplish little, like partial lies. Lead me to further confusion and panic, not any understanding of how to accomplish our goals effectively.

The employees are all willing to help, cheerful, and unmoving in their positive attitudes despite the lack of support, gratitude, and necessary successful tools to get through a productive and prosperous work day.

we get a 30% employee discount which is HUGE!!!
