I appreciate the current benefits I do have but I am aware that the company can provide more for us. It is complicated, but I hope the UAW and GM can come to an agreement that the workers should be compensated with more job security and monetary benefits.

Some of the best qualities about the team are knowing the guys for years knowing that when it comes down to it I can count on them as well as they know they can count on me to get the job done

Too much conflict between mgmt and members. Too much conflict between members. Some way some how we all need to come together on the same page and treat each other with dignity and respect. Management needs to quit being so hard-nosed and be more flexible. Members need to stop being obstinate.

GM needs to show its employees they value them I used to be so proud to be GM/UAW but that’s long gone It’s not the company or values I hired into

There's way too much to discuss on this topic and no where near enough room to type it out. Just know, there's a lot of big problems and no one seems to want to do what it takes to fix it.

No budget to fix machinery, but we had a $33B profit last quarter. Then they stopped paying overtime, but make us work over.
