I love the people I work with, however management leaves room for great improvement. There is such a turnover at the store unlike I've ever seen in any company or business. Many things need to be improved as far as human resources and the management dealing with employees as well as each other.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Compensate your employees!!! Everyone that has been in this store for over 3 months NEEDS A HEFTY RAISE
What are some of the best things about your team?
The employees are all willing to help, cheerful, and unmoving in their positive attitudes despite the lack of support, gratitude, and necessary successful tools to get through a productive and prosperous work day.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I show up, I help as much as I cam, I do what is asked of me, I utilize my experience and knowledge from 2nd job to help improve productivity as well as food safety. I was switched to another more demanding position without being 1] consulted and 2] compensated or even offered/awarded such.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Mostly everything! Employees are overwhelmed and not taken care of. The manager uses the phrase "Do what you can with what you've got" this is no way motivational or productive for anyone. PLEASE IT IS IMOORTANT the way things are being handled is not beneficial to the company or anyone.
