I feel undervalued because me and my coworkers are what makes Trader Joe's Trader Joe's, and I know how much Trader Joe's makes sales are getting better each year yet what we get paid does not reflect that.

COMMUNICATION!!!!!!! Leadership does not communicate to each other and not to the crew...

My peers are great, it is management staff that are awful and make coming to work unpleasant.

The store does little in terms of making sure 300 employees are not partaking in discriminatory behavior against eachother or clientele. I've heard antisemitic, anti lgbt, anti Asian, and anti black commentary nearly daily since working there.

Managemnet needs to be completely revamped. I have been told to "be quiet and forget" several times in response to my complaints

Why have 3 interwiews mates act like they dont want to work captains you barlely see or they barely speak

Interview was held in a back room next to the trash and loud noises. There are no offices. Interview was not ADA friendly at all.

I asked for one dollar higher - believing that my customer experience was well worth it. One manager who interviewed thought it was fine but hiring manager said no and started me at the lowest/average starting pay. I had a few months of grocery experience too. I was disappointed but wanted the job

Being able to help people and explain to people about our products, we have a lot of interesting things here that a lot of people, when they first come, don't usually know what it is, so I love helping people feel more comfortable about what they put in their cart.

Lack of good treatment of staff which stems from leadership in individual stores. High turn over of staff because leadership has lack of people skills. Stress out staff don't make good workers. If the bottom line is sales and staff is encouraged to undermine each other, then the company not survive.

The executive office does not care about us.

They aren't paying enough to attract solid new hires or to hold onto the veterans they have

Bad management. No accountability, retaliation

Stop the harassment and shaming. Stop being so political with customers and crew alike .
