it's hard work, but me and my coworkers make the most of it. It's nothing thanks to the company Trader Joe's itself where I know that Trader Joe's could definitely afford to pay us better, but they don't. which is the case with most places of employment. I just think that we should be paid more.
What makes you most happy at work?
my coworkers. Because we're always mindful of each other and we take care of each other.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I like that we get interviewed by three different people. That way it's not just one person making the decision.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because me and my coworkers are what makes Trader Joe's Trader Joe's, and I know how much Trader Joe's makes sales are getting better each year yet what we get paid does not reflect that.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
we are kind to one another and make the most of our work even when it's a crazy busy day. Or if we have a bad experience with the customer, we'll talk about it with each other and make each other feel better about it.
