What does the leadership team need to get better at?
This company cannot handle COVID Emergency. Employees are at risk everyday since March 2020.

No incentives to stay with the company, nor to do a good job. Mediocre and excellent employees are rewarded the same, which is peanuts. Veterans train new hires who make more than them. Feedback is payed lip service. No wage negotiation. Even middle managers work two jobs. These must be addressed.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because me and my coworkers are what makes Trader Joe's Trader Joe's, and I know how much Trader Joe's makes sales are getting better each year yet what we get paid does not reflect that.

we are kind to one another and make the most of our work even when it's a crazy busy day. Or if we have a bad experience with the customer, we'll talk about it with each other and make each other feel better about it.

What i like the most about this company is that you are well rewarded for the work you put in. Everyday is different as you work all kinds of sections, are given many different responsibillities, you cashier, you order for a section, and literally everyday is an adventure.

The mates and captains when they are replaced by appropriate people the crew will be replaced by appropriate people
