I believe Trader Joes is the best job I have ever had and even though I have been working in mostly retail positions, this is a job that is well worth it to have any way you look at it. Trader Joe I believe has something to offer to any walk of life there is and I don't plan on quitting anytime soon

The company will wear you down. You come in and work hard to rise to the occasion. You begin to take leadership roles. Then you slowly realize that the raises are negligible, that there is no loyalty to crew. That hard workers are expected to keep up their paces, while everyone else coasts.

No incentives to stay with the company, nor to do a good job. Mediocre and excellent employees are rewarded the same, which is peanuts. Veterans train new hires who make more than them. Feedback is payed lip service. No wage negotiation. Even middle managers work two jobs. These must be addressed.

Management is seemingly disinterested in addressing this. Sales will climb regardless due to marketing/brand loyalty, so no incentive to address conditions
